Text with a white background - WinXP - Ati

All texts controls have a white background, instead of a transparent one on my Windows XP with an Ati video card. I know there are a lot of problems with this kind of card but I find this quite strange. I can observe a lot of a different behaviors between OSes. It is really slow on OS X, I have different visual bugs between the fullscreen mode and the window mode. On Windows I cannot see any text but I have a music in the background (I've just discovered tonight that it exists) and the game crashes when exiting.

Does someone has an Ati Video card to confirm those bugs ?

Try some 3rd driver, The system crash due to Ati driver
That abama was a solved, though it still make system pause and run per 10 mins

Except it works for all other 3D games... So it is definitively a Ta3D specific issue.

I`ve got Ati card. Radeon 4840.

Have no bugs with text, but do have crash when exiting/ending game . This crash have been here for a quite long time, since new VFS module - so if i remember correctly since alpha 7 or 8.

Oo ... It works on OS X... I mean no visible crash. Oki I will debug the VFS module.

yeah it seems there is something wrong with VFS module on windows. I tried to run it through GDB but I couldn't get it to start in GDB whereas it works outside GDB :evil:
