I think we've now something that's good looking, enough to start coding AI/networking, so AI/networking will become the main goal for further versions since now we only have bugs to fix and some features to add that can be done later. What do you think?

With an AI and networking we can reach let's say version 0.99.x meaning the releases before the stable version with all TA features working.

Yes, I think you are right. TA3D almost fully playable now. And I would preferably set goals in next order:
- pathfinding fix
- adding network support
- adding AI
- any other improvments

Since there are several AI for Spring, I suppose it will be easy to adapt one of Spring`s to have something to play with.
Also I`ve sent you new tree model, so now we should have two different types of trees, and it should look much better (if my models work).

Yes there is still pathfinding problems to fix ...

I'll have a look at TASpring's code to see how AI is implemented and see if it can be made compatible with TA3D's engine. That would be really cool if we could reuse TASpring's AIs.

There are some people in TaSpring community who can help us with AI porting, but they should know, how TA3D will handle AI so copmatibility interface could be coded.

But before this pathfinding should be almost perfect. If unit`s will halt sometimes - all AI idea will be useless. That`s why I suggest don`t force TA3D AI just yet :)

I am not saying we should start it now - this is impossible since we've not started thinking about the way it will be implemented yet - but we should start thinking of how we'll implement it since we don't need a compatibility layer if we make it work the same way Spring's AI work.
