D-GUN

well,D-GUN is great in TA.
but in TA3D i find it not great Audio,and not Visual shock....
i think next version..should crazy it..

ideas are welcome :)

for compatibility reasons, D-Gun must have the same properties it has in TA (to preserve balance/compatibility in mods) but we can change the way it looks and the noise it makes :).

This could be the first weapon we'll recreate for TA3D :D, feel free to post any ideas, we can even implement some new weapon renderer :)

Maybe D-GUN could look like constant beam, which slice through the terrain just like in TA with particles explosion all the way?

so now we need someone to rewrite the dgun for TA3D :D

it's not that hard, just write a dgun.tdf file, then write dgun parameters in a TDF structure (all details can be found in weapons/weapons.tdf in totala1.hpi, this file begins with documentation about the variables etc...)
