Hi,

we've already a few things translated into Japanese and we have here the same problem as with Chinese : drawing the text, we have fonts that can be used but currently our font system cannot handle it, it's too big.

If you want you can add Chinese translations to ta3d.res (the translation file), but TA3D isn't capable of displaying it at the moment. We'll work on it so we can at least use the Japanese translations we have. If you have experience with Kanji fonts or symbols, you can also help : we don't even know which parts of the fonts will be useful ...

+1 translator for simplified-Chinese version.
sorry. i have no code-experience in fonts, but yes, at least i know what characters in font file will be needed, in TA3D original interface.
Hoping to be a translator for Simplified-Chinese version of TA3D...

After 0.5.0. is released, we`ll add support for TTF (true-type fonts), that allow us to have as many languages support as we like to. At first - English/French (that are currently ready), Russian, Chinese, Japan and any other.

When are you planing 0.5.0 release, Zuzuf?

I'd say when it's ready ...

It's been a long time since 0.4.2 and we're almost finished with main coding tasks, but we're still lacking a work installer for win32 and mac OS package. We can also decide to release basic packages first and then build "almost" perfect installers, maybe fixing some obvious bugs too.

But well, for now we also have to fix that little multiplayer sync bug ...
