We've lots of old bugs in the track, some of them may have been fixed and replaced with other ones. Many bugs are ATI related (it seems they won't be fixed before switching to SDL) and many others are OS X specific (some crashes have probably been fixed when we replaced malloc/free calls with new/delete calls and STL objects).

About the dev on OS X, the tickets are up-to-date. Most of them are partially done however.
Most of them are related to ATI but we are not sure SDL will help in some way. Direct accesses to OpenGL will remain. Perhaps textures will no longer be corrupted, it cannot be guaranteed (I hope so however). But I agree it would be far better than allegro.

the main difference with SDL is we will control completely the texture creation process which is not the case with AllegroGL ... and the AllegroGL function that create textures is known to be platform dependent (OpenGL extensions available, driver, hardware, etc...)
