Status about the OS X version

Post by milipili » Sun Aug 03, 2008 2:29 pm

For info, a first release of a OS X version is nearly possible.
Two major issue to solve just before :

- A standalone Bundle. This would be possible as soon as resources may be located where we want and not in the same folder than the executable.

- Poor performances. It seems to be related with textures, which are corrupted. It seems there is still a range check error somewhere. This problem has been partially fixed with the lastest revision. It is possible than computer with NVidia cards does not seem to be affected.

As many others OS X application, TA3D will not require an installer.

Savegames will be located in their 'Application Support' folder (~/Library/Application Support/ta3d).
The logs will be located in their Logs folder (~/Library/Logs/ta3d)

TA3D needs to be known from Mac Users, which is not the case.
If TA3D is available from here, http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/games/, there will have OS X users don't worry ^^
