String related stuffs ? TA3D does not use Yuni::String yet. Could this be possibly related this the issue I have already mentioned with Ta3D::String ?zuzuf wrote:I'll have a look at the guilty code but it could be almost anything since that code uses lots of string related stuffs

The method extractKeyValue() (especially used in the TDF parser, tdf.cpp) has been completely redesigned for performance reasons, which is the first test to pass when launching TA3D

Re: Ta3D::String replacement
It is not finished yet, because it seems the string in libyuni is still a bit buggy
It seems the new method to extract the pair key/value is not good as it should be. here is a patch if someone would like to debug it ^^ (http://ftn.shikami.org/ta3d/newstring.patch)

Re: 0.6 news
The zip files are downloaded by libyuni. Because libyuni already uses a lot of external libraries to not reinvent the wheel, it might become hard to have the good working env, especially under Windows. Those files are called `devpacks` and provide source codes most of the time, or binaries when poss...

Re: 0.6 news
There are a lot of source quakes recently
When CMake produces an error, you should remove the CMakeCache.txt that prevent some variables from being resetting with the good value, then try again.
With the last changes you can even use a fresh checkout.

Windows has a compatibility mode for paths. It compiles well with MinGW but I have not tryied with MSYS. May be libyuni lacks of detection with MSYS, which is an hybrid system. Contrary to the most frameworks, the operating system detection is provided by the headers. This way, headers are the same ...

Re: SVN
You also needs to fetch externals with Subversion, since TA3D directly uses the repository of Yuni in its sources (/trunk/src/libs/yuni, see http://trac.ta3d.org/browser/trunk/src/libs and http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.0/ch07s03.html for more informations). Directory structure change/cleanup
The Directory structure is about to change in the svn repository in order to cleanup a bit the source code. So don't be surprised if your svn refuses to update your local copy. If you have any problem, a fresh checkout should resolve any issue.

You have two SDL Frameworks installed on your system and there is a mix-up. Actually you are using the SDL Framework installed by the OS X installer from libsdl.org.
