Re: TA3D 0.6.2637 for Mac OS 10.6

Is it possible to install Mac os x on a windows vista home premium laptop? I bought the laptop in september last year and I have come to detest windows, so I was wondering weather I could install mac os x on my laptop instead of windows. If this is possible and would leave the computer fully operat...

Re: TA3D Binary for OS X Snow Leopard !

My main issue is not so much whether I may have backup issues but the fact that I don't have the Boot Camp 3.0 drivers. There's no way I'm going to be able to buy Snow Leopard anytime soon and I no of no illegal methods besides torrents which are unreliable at the best of times. By the way, ever had...

Re: TA3D Binary for OS X Snow Leopard !

Okay, I'm sticking with 10.5. I want Boot Camp 3 but there's no way Im gonna be able to manipulate everything around for format and install, or to get an extra hard drive.

Re: TA3D Binary for OS X Snow Leopard !

Awesome, thanks! =D
It seems like I'm getting somewhat pushed to upgrade to 10.6 of OSX but the cost of the installer disks here are big and I have NO CLUE about how it's gonna end up. My mother will freak if something gets seriously changed.

Milipili to the rescue?
(or is there a more recent OSX 10.5 binary in some random location I don't know of?)

Re: TA3D Binary for OS X Snow Leopard !

Sorry to bump the thread, it's been a while since I did OS X-related stuff. I've come across a problem in r2251: Process: ta3d [1114] Path: /BP'S STUFF/Games/TA3D v0.6.0 WIP r2251/ta3d.app/Contents/MacOS/ta3d Identifier: org.ta3d.application Version: ??? (???) Re: Some Issues regarding TA3D 0.6.0 Beta 4

Putting Shadows at Normal detail or off does the trick (had it on High before), however as a result of mucking around with Shadow and Far Sight settings seemed to do something with the sky rendering though (not reflecting on all parts or even any of the water which I swear worked beautifully last ti...

Re: Some Issues regarding TA3D 0.6.0 Beta 4

@zuzuf: I couldn't attach the files to this forum so I had to Rapidshare it as a .7z. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hopefully this might be of help to other graphic-related bugs that I'm sure you're aware of already. :) @Balthazzar: Thanks for the heads-up on the ortographic camera, but from what I c...

Some Issues regarding TA3D 0.6.0 Beta 4

Two key problems I noticed (graphic-wise) can be seen in this picture: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/6658/problemrs.png Also, when I first loaded the program it froze when loading. I terminated it via Task Manager and then loaded it again and it worked fine. The loading bar does seem terribly l...

Re: TA3D Binary for OS X Snow Leopard !

Does the Mac OS X side of TA3D feature the dodgy pathfinder featured in 0.6.0 Beta 2 of the Windows branch?

But will this work on non-Snow Leopard users? I won't be updating my mother's Mac anytime soon.

Re: How to install on Mac OS X 10.5 ???

Bad news, I cant run it either. It doesn't even come up with an error message now, just quits out.
Does the Windows version have this problem too?

Re: How to install on Mac OS X 10.5 ???

I will check later on if I can using r2021, but that was the same revision I tried that gave me the error in the first place - I don't think it's really going to change, since to my knowledge I followed all of the instructions correctly.

Re: How to install on Mac OS X 10.5 ???

OMG I can finally get in. Must've just been a bad computer day for me or something. These days I actually use Boot Camp on my Mac, so eventually I'll be able to test out 0.6.0 for Win32 eventually if you so require. But I think I may wait for something awesome like GoK to be implemented in TA3D firs...

Mac OS X Version 0.5.3 - What's happening?

It's been released for Windows with a statement basically saying that there's been issue with teh Mac OS X version.
It's been a while now (I think) and I'm just asking - what's the go? Is it being released soon or what? :(

Ah, I see.

When could we be expecting a release/update of 0.5/6.x?

This SDL port sounds rather excellent! I hope this means it has more speed on my old 1000 Mhz PC than the OpenGL version.
Or for the Mac OS X compiled one, that weird water glitch gets fixed. :/

That is true, xpoy. I'd assume that such items that are like that with their GUI standalone such as zwgsg's Galactic Gates would be more compatible with TA3D if that function was implemented rather then the mouse function.

That'd be awesome, but first that issue with the Aircraft movement needs to be fixed. I do believe someone mentioned this already. Unless of course, you INTENDED the aircraft to move about like the Railway Express in Half-Life. :P TA-Excess issues fixed in 0.6.0? AWESOME! Maybe now I could actually ...

I'd wish for a proper fix over that TA-Excess glitch that only happens in TA3D.

You know, the commanders like teleport in with that awesome explosion effect, but then you can't see the unit, and it won't build anything.

Not meaning to sound rushy, but when could we expect the next OS X release?

EDIT: Whoops! My inability to search the forum plagues me again. Never mind.
